Where wisdom reigns, there is no conflict between thinking and feeling. It has become apparent, even though with PM Anwar Ibrahim’s endorsement towards Hajiji Noor as Sabah’s Chief Minister, yet has further resulted in the continuous onslaught by Bung Moktar and Shafie Apdal, though their coup has miserably FAILED.
Their nonsensical arguments has now INSULTED the intelligence of Anwar Ibrahim, and the people of Sabah.
What’s even more mind boggling, is the element of desperation displayed by UMNO in backing a loosing cause.
UMNO, in it’s on going General Assembly has now amended it’s Constitution barring any UMNO member from supporting or joining any coalition that is not endorsed by the party.
It also further states that any of it’s MP’s or Assemblymen will AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT his/ her seat in violation of this amendment.
Ironically, the Constitutional Amendment was made following the coup in Sabah, yet has blindly IGNORED the unanimous decision of the delegates previously endorsing the NO ANWAR, NO DAP clarion call
In all madness, the constitutional amendment was tailored made and sugar coated to intentionally focus on the Sabah fiasco, which was a despicable act of ” tyranny.”
This amendment is in it’s legal definition ” after the fact ” doesn’t hold water. No sane leader of a political party in it’s right frame of mind, will compromise the sovereignty of a country and the well being of the people, just to suit it’s personal agenda.
In any event, for what it’s worth, the orchestrators may have intentionally forgotten, that the 5 magnanimous Sabah UMNO Assemblymen were prepared to be SACK from the party. Their brave action was done in the name of stability, unity and the well being of the people.
Politics must have it’s limits, this new amendment and any action taken should be targeted against the perpetrators and conspirators whose actions almost condemned and destroyed Sabah.
KUDOS to Hajiji Noor and Anwar Ibrahim’s UNITY GOVERNMENT of Sabah.
