KOTA KINABALU: Asia’s largest ocean summit, the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX), is coming to Sabah in August 2023.
The Minister Of Tourism, Culture And Environment of Sabah, Datuk Christina Liew, urged local divers to participate in the programme at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from Aug 18 to 20.
“Experts and experienced speakers will be covering topics on ocean conservation, education, underwater photography and filming, including an interesting topic on the mermaid industry,” she said.
“This is a great opportunity for stakeholders, both the government and the private sector, to participate and gain knowledge on marine efforts in tandem with growing a sustainable niche in tourism and the diving industry.”
The programme, in collaboration with the Sabah Tourism Board (STB) is seen to further elevate Sabah’s reputation as a premier diving destination.
