KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Minister of Finance, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun received a courtesy
call by Sabah Public Works Minister, Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya at his office in Menara Kinabalu, here, today.
During the meeting, Masidi and Shahelmey addressed several issues concerning the public including matters on road maintenance and upgrading, water supply and other matters.
Masidi said matters that directly affect the safety and wellbeing of the public such as road maintenance and upgrading and water supply matters must be handled with urgency, not be taken lightly or put through unnecessary delays.
“I suggest the departments and agencies concerned involving maintenance and repairs of any public facilities and infrastructure such as road and water to take a page off the private sector’s book when it comes to carrying out their responsibilities,” he added.
