Star Wiramuda wants CM’s son to contest Tuaran seat

TUARAN: Tuaran Star Wiramuda supports the statement by THE Parti Pribumi Bersatu Tuaran Armada Chief that Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) should put a young candidate for the Tuaran parliamentary seat.

Star Wiramuda Pantai Dalit Chief, Jess Joel Moriga said he is confident that young voters in Tuaran are now more aware of the political development today.

“I am confident that with the support of all young people in Tuaran, the GRS candidate can win the Tuaran seat.

“For me, it doesn’t matter who is the young candidate GRS will name…we young leaders, especially from Wiramuda Tuaran will work together to ensure that GRS will be able to win the seat,” he said.

He said this after attending the Persidangan Tahunan Armada Bersatu Tuaran which took place at the Building Hall of the Dewan Banggunan Persatuan Rumpun Bajau Sama in Lok Batik Tuaran.The conference was attended by 300 people.

Jess Joel, who is also the Vice Head of Wiramuda Star State Exco expressed his full support to Bersatu Tuaran Armada Leader Ghazali Hajiji to contest the Tuaran seat under the GRS banner.Ghazali is the son of GRS Chairman cum Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor.

“GE15 will be the starting point of a new political era for Malaysia. The number of young voters between 18-21 years old is the biggest contributor in the addition of new voters in Tuaran.

“This is a golden opportunity for youths to unite under GRS to bring reform to the geo political system in Tuaran,” he said.
